The Irrevocable Laws of Seeking, Sowing and Reaping.

The Irrevocable Laws of Seeking, Sowing and Reaping.

It is a tragedy that many say they are waiting on God, while as a matter of fact God is waiting on them to put their faith to action. Proverbs 10:4- not just rich in wealth but this word in its essence means to prosper and to grow. It can mean financially but also in all areas where we are diligent, we see growth, increase, prosperity and results. The word ‘diligent’ in Hebrew means a sharp threshing instrument. We see in Isaiah 41:15. You can continue in diligence in the following: Seeking, Sowing and Doing.

Today we shall be looking as Seeking.

“What you seek, you find.”

Those five simple words challenge us at the level of personal motivation. The Bible has much to say about seeking and finding, especially seeking and finding the Lord.

These are just a few examples:

Deuteronomy 4:29, 1Chronicles 28:9, 2Chronicles 26:5, Psalm 27:8, Isaiah 55:6, Jeremiah 29:12-13, Matthew 6:33, Luke 11:9-10, Hebrews 11:36.

The verse “Seek and you will find” is typically found in book of Matthew 7:7-8, where Jesus encourages believers to actively seek God’s guidance, wisdom, and presence in their lives. Believers are encouraged to trust that God will reveal Himself and His plans in His perfect timing. Persistence in seeking is crucial, as sometimes answers are not immediate, but perseverance shows the depth of one’s faith. Seeking God is also about personal transformation. As believers seek God, they grow spiritually, gaining wisdom, understanding and discernment. What is found might be answers, peace, guidance, or a deeper sense of God’s presence.
