Joshua 24:14-15
1 Kings 18:21
Salvation and Service to God requires Consent of the Will.
You cannot be born again accidentally; it is a matter of decision.
It is within our own power to settle WHETHER we WILL or WHETHER we WON’T serve the Lord.
2 Corinthians 12:9
God does not force Himself on anyone.
Today’s content is tailored for those seeking to approach to human free will. You will better grasp the delicate balance between divine love and human autonomy, as presented in the Bible- Deuteronomy 30:19, Matthew 23:37
God does not save those who resist His calling, who refuse His offer- Acts 7:51, Hebrews 3:15.
God is calling upon us to rebuild the family altars as a choice of serving God. The threat against the welfare of the church is accelerated by the current dysfunctions within the family institution. Some Christian women are away from their homes too frequently, and there are some fathers that are strangers to their own children. Sometimes, we say that preachers’ children turn out worse than any others. Most preachers also are often looking after everybody else’s children and neglecting their own. That was the sin of old Eli, who was both priest and judge in Israel. He never saw his own children (only when they were asleep) and a great judgement came to Eli because of the wickedness of his sons. His sons made themselves vile, and Eli restrained them not.
A soul-stirring appeal- choose ye this day whom you will serve.
Joshua knew better than anyone else that all the victories of the past has come to that nation because God was with them, and everything in the future would depend upon the attitude that the nation took towards Jehovah. There is a choice of one of TWO LEADERS;
The ruler of the darkness of this world- the prince of the power of the air, the great deceiver.
Jesus, “THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.”
There is no neutral ground. You are either following Jesus, or following the prince of the power of the air, the ruler of this world’s darkness- Matthew 12:30.
